  13. Flying Perfect is a screen saver where various objects
  14. fly over the screen in different styles.  It allows users
  15. to import their own BMP files as flying objects. 
  16.

  18. Please read through following important description before you
  19. run setup.exe:
  20.  
  21.  
  22. A). What will be installed by setup.exe?
  23.  
  24.  The SETUP.EXE will copy five files into your windows directory:
  25.  
  26.  fp.src      -- The main executable file of Flying Perfect;
  27.  fp.txt      -- Documentation file;
  28.  
  29.  ball0.bmp   -- Sample objects;
  30.  heart1.bmp   
  31.  heart2.bmp
  32.  pumpk.bmp
  33.  skull1.bmp
  34.  skull2.bmp
  35.  bomb.bmp
  36.  fire1.bmp
  37.  arrow0.bmp
  38.  arrow1.bmp
  39.  bull1.bmp
  40.  bull2.bmp
  41.

  43.  If Savervisor is included, the setup.exe will also
  44.  copy
  45.    
  46.    saver.exe  -- Executable file for Savervisor;
  47.    saver.txt  -- Documentation file for Savervisor;
  48.  in to the directory that you specify and copy

  50.    utility1.dll -- Utility file for Savervisor;
  51.  in to directory c:\windows\system.

  53.   SETUP.EXE WILL NOT MAKE ANY OTHER CHANGE TO YOUR COMPUTER.

  57. B). Environment requirement: 
  58.  
  59.  - VBRUN300.DLL;
  60.  
  61. C). How to install?
  62.  
  63.  "Step By Step" instructions for installation:
  64.  
  65.   1). Download the latest version of fp.zip and
  66. VBRUN300.DLL(if you
  67.       don't have one in your system);
  68.   2). Copy fp.zip into a temporary directory, say c:\tmp;
  69.   3). Unzip fp within c:\tmp using pkunzip.exe;
  70.   4). Run c:\tmp\setup.exe from File Manager(double click at the
  71. icon of
  72.       c:\tmp\setup.exe);
  73.   5). If this package includes a utility, Savervisor, you will be
  74. asked to
  75.       key in the directory where Savervisor will be installed.
  76. You need to
  77.       either key in you own directory or use the default one. If
  78. the 
  79.       package does not include Savervisor, you will not see the
  80. dialog.
  81.   6). The setup program will then ask you choose from one of
  82. following
  83.          a). Run the saver now;
  84.          b). Setup the saver now;
  85.          c). Exit to Windows now;
  86.        You need to choose one of them.
  87.     Note: if you choose (click at) the first choice, "Run the
  88. saver now",
  89.           please don't move or click your mouse after click at
  90. the choice.
  91.           Otherwise, you will disable the saver right after you
  92. enable it.

  94.   If you like setup or test the saver that you have installed,
  95. please open
  96.   the Desktop of Windows Control Panel, select the saver from
  97. Screen Saver
  98.   section, and test or setup the saver.
  99.  
  100. D). TroubleShooting:
  101.     -  Q: I have a multimedia system, with .WAV capability, and
  102.           in fact, 
  103.           I hear .WAV files with most every application.  
  104.           Why can I NOT hear sounds with your screen saver?  
  105.           (The Sounds option is grayed out, and I cannot check
  106.            it.)
  107.        A: The Saver disables Sound option if it does not detect a
  108.           sound device that it knows. You can enforce it accepts
  109.           you sound system by following steps:
  110.               1). disable (turn off) the saver;
  111.               2). open (double click at icon of) file            
  112.  
  113.                   c:\windows\fp.ini
  114.                   (assuming c:\windows is your Windows directory)
  115.                    in your windows File Manager;
  116.               3). change 
  117.                       EnforceSoundOn= 0
  118.                   into
  119.                       EnforceSoundOn= 1
  120.               4). save and close the file;       
  121.               5.) bring up the setup screen of the saver;
  122.               6). check (enable) field "Sound On";
  123.               7). click at OK to exit the setup screen of the
  124.                   saver;
  125.       
  126.     Q:  I have downloaded your screen saver recently 
  127.         and I was having a problem with getting it to work
  128. properly.  
  129.         After initializing I get a message "... caused a general 
  130.         protection fault in module VGA.DRV at 0001:0ca2". 
  131.   
  132.     A:  Changed your screen driver in winsetup to SVGA.

  135. E). How to get more information?
  136.

  138. This program is a shareware.  You are welcome to distribute this package
  139. (fp.zip) by any means: copy it to your friends, upload it to your
  140. favorite BBSs or On-line systems.  
  141. However, it is NOT a freeware. You will be able to use(evaluate) it up to 30 
  142. times or 30 days. You then have to register(pay fee to its author) if you still 
  143. want to use it after that.
